The new school year has started and we have traditionally moved to the Lipno dam with some of the 3rd graders. The course took place from 18-22 September 2023 and was attended by classes 3.EA and 3.SA. The content of the course was to familiarize the pupils with the management of the C2 vessel - the theory was verified in practice by the pupils when crossing the upper Vltava River. We also discussed the principles of cycling and safe movement on roads. We practically practiced this knowledge during a day trip by bike around Lipno. The first group mastered the route Nová Pec - Jelení Vrchy - Schwarzenberg Navigation Canal Museum Jelení - Stožec - Nová Pec. The second group walked almost 70 km on the way to Vítkův Hrádek and back. The last point of the program was a day hike to Plešné jezero and then through the Adalbert Stifter memorial to the Plechý peak. As we had pre-booked the weather, we had nice and sunny weather throughout the course.
