On the first day, students learned the basics of paddling and safe behaviour on the water and tried canoeing.

The next day was a hiking trip, during which the weather was beautiful. The route led through the famous Plešné jezero to the highest mountain in the Czech part of Šumava - Plechý. The 25-kilometre long circuit with an elevation gain of 741 metres was well managed by everyone.

In spite of the unfavourable weather forecast, on Wednesday we went on a bike ride. The students divided into two groups, with group A cycling to Vítková hrádek and group B cycling along the Schwarzenberg Canal to Stožec. Both groups travelled over 50 kilometres.

The next day, both classes walked to Pěkná, where the boats were waiting for them. Afterwards, they went sailing on the upper Vltava River and part of the Lipno River. The day ended with a bonfire.

During the whole course we had to face the rigours of the weather, but still managed to complete the course in full. The pupils actively participated in all planned activities and managed the demanding programme with great sportsmanship and exemplary behaviour.

The students and teachers took away new experiences, had a lot of fun, but above all a good feeling from the active time spent in nature.
