The essence of the competition lies in the fact that the mechanical part of the task is built from the Merkur kit, while the programming part is solved with the Arduino system. The name of the competition also contains the name of the organizing faculty (perfekt =) Faculty of Electronics and Communication Technologies, FEKT).
Our two teams of three have chosen a task Muscle on the robot a Light-controlled belt drive. We arrived in Brno as always at the last minute, so we jumped straight into the competition. In a tense atmosphere, both our teams made maximum efforts and solved the problems that arose operatively and successfully. The result was a close third place (Muscle to Robot) and again a close fourth place (Light Controlled Armadillo). I believe we will go again next year.
In conclusion, it should be noted that participants who meet the requirements (all our students) will be admitted to the BUT without an entrance exam.
