The EuropaSecura competition, organised by the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, the Czech Army and other institutions, attracted more than 2,000 high school students from all over the Czech Republic. The questions were from the topics of EU, NATO and Czech legislation, modern history, and included work with a blind map and text.
Our three students scored 116.5 points out of 140, and thus advanced to the written part of the regional round, in which they are expected to create a security analysis on the topic of Afghanistan. If they are subsequently selected by the expert jury, they will advance to the oral part of the regional round.
Congratulations to the advancing trio and we wish them much success in the next step of the competition!
