Competition and excursion at Rohde & Schwarz plant Vimperk, s. r. o. (22 March 2024)

On 22 March 2024, the RS Challenge was held at the Rohde & Schwarz, s. r. o., production plant in Vimperk. The competition is usually combined with an excursion, so the participants had the opportunity to see the production of electronic equipment, which is among the best in the world.

The actual competition consists in the production of an electronic device according to the submitted documentation and set of components. This year it has been supplemented with a fault finding activity on a simple circuit. The specific task was to build and revive an MP4 player.

Unfortunately, the students of our school did not do very well this year and did not finish the product. Still, it was an interesting experience!
