School Council

Act No.561/2004 Coll., on pre-primary, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education (Education Act) provides for the following activities of the school board:

 

§ 168

 

(1) The School Board

 

(a) comment on proposals for school education programmes and their subsequent implementation,

 

b) approve the annual report on the school's activities,

 

c) approve the school regulations, and in secondary and higher vocational schools the scholarship regulations, and propose amendments to them,

 

(d) approve the rules for assessing the educational results of pupils in primary and secondary schools,

 

e) participates in the preparation of conceptual plans for the development of the school,

 

f) discusses the draft budget of the legal entity for the following year and proposes measures to improve its management,

 

g) discuss inspection reports of the Czech School Inspectorate,

 

h) submits suggestions and notifications to the school principal, the founder, the authorities exercising state administration in education and other state administration authorities,

 

i) submits a proposal for the announcement of a competition for a school principal.

The current Board of Education at SPŠ SE was elected on 12 April 2023, the standard term of office is from September 2023 to August 2026. The School Council shall be composed of:

 

  • for representatives of underage pupils and adult pupils: Ing. Michal Turek
  • for the founder: Ing. Bc. Vítězslav Ilko
  • for the school's teaching staff: Mgr. Pavlína Šustrová
