School trip of the 1st ER class - swimming the lower Vltava River (18 June 2024)

On 18 June 2024, the 1st ER class went on a school trip. It was a one-day trip on the lower Vltava River and 25 pupils and 2 teachers took part in the trip.

The start of the journey was at the train station in České Budějovice, from where the journey continued to Český Krumlov. There, rafts were waiting for us, on which we sailed with a small stop to Zlatá Koruna, where the journey on the water ended with the last weir. The final stage of the trip was climbing the elevation from the campsite by the Vltava River to the train station. People familiar with this place know that it is not a completely easy walk. Then it was just a train ride back to České Budějovice, where our trip ended.

The trip went well - we managed it without the slightest problems and we had booked flawless weather in advance.

So, Ahoy!
