4-5 September 2024 in Doubí u Třeboně, the teams of classes 1. EE and 1. EM met. On the first day, the pupils got to know their classmates within their classes - they introduced themselves in the form of business cards, created sociometric series, had to rely on people in the team to overcome obstacles, when they worked together and came up with a strategy. They also tried their hand at cooperation during a dragon boat ride. The afternoon was dedicated to sports activities - they played football, beach volleyball, netball, competed in relay races, activities where teamwork played an important role. In the evening, a match between the classes was played, when the team of 1.EE won by only one goal.

On the second day we went on the Trail around the World, where the physical fitness of the pupils was proven - we had to do it quickly, in warm weather. At the end, there was a "Hot Seat" activity and the pupils filled in "exit forms" in which they evaluated the course themselves and were then made freshmen of our school.
During the second tour, i.e. from 5 September to 6 September 2024, pupils from 1.ER and 1.S arrived in Doubí u Třeboně with their class teachers. The programme was similar, consisting of familiarisation, bonding and sporting activities, only the journey around the World, due to the more favourable weather, seemed a drop more pleasant than the previous day - this time it was under a cloud and therefore not so hot.

The students of 1st ER and 1st S were also passed on as freshmen of the SPŠ SE, received badges with the school logo to pin on their backpacks and in return filled out "exit slips" for their class teachers and SPS staff, in which they had the opportunity to comment on the whole course. We are pleased that the feedback on the "adaptation course" was overwhelmingly very positive and that the students perceived the benefits of the course as the opportunity to get to know each other, get to know each other better and become closer to the team. We even received several compliments from the students about us, the teachers, and our organisational skills. Thank you! It was a meaningful, albeit perhaps more challenging for some, day that we hope will contribute to building a relaxed classroom climate.
