School English Conversation Competition (11 January 2023)
On 11 January 2023, we held a school round of the English conversation competition for secondary schools.
It was attended by 21 students who demonstrated their skills and knowledge of a foreign language in the form of a circular debate on contemporary topics. In Round 2, the number of contestants was reduced to 10, from which the committee (English teachers) then selected the best ones.
The winner was Marcel Havlíček from class 3.EB, the second place went to Ivan Klimenda from 3.EA and the third place was awarded to two students from class 1.S - Jiří Alin and Jan Prima. Marcel Havlicek and Ivan Klimenda will advance to the district round.
We thank all participants for their participation and excellent performances, and we keep our fingers crossed for the advancement!
