School English Conversation Competition (10 January 2024)
On Wednesday 10 January 2024, as every year, the school round of the AJ conversation competition for secondary schools took place at our school.
This time 7 students took part in a circular debate on contemporary topics, demonstrating their knowledge, skills and ability to express themselves in English. The decision was very difficult, but in the end the committee (AJ teachers) chose the following: the winners were Viktor Keist from 1st EM and Tobiáš Němec from 2nd EM; the third place went to Matyáš Novák from 2nd S. Both students in 1st place will go on to represent our school in the district round organized by DDM České Budějovice.
We would like to thank all the participants, each of whom received a small token of appreciation, not only for their participation, but especially for their amazing performances and the rich and interesting discussion.
