The lecture aimed to improve our students' orientation in the job market and their future employment opportunities.
The lecturer provided students with an overview of the current situation and main trends in the labour market, informed them about the current needs of employers (e.g. what skills and qualifications companies require, what knowledge from school is most valuable to current employers) and also provided information on employability in the labour market. Among other things, students were able to compare what they remembered about CVs from school with the current requirements for a well-written CV.
We believe that this presentation will help fourth-year students in their transition to working life after secondary school, university, or possibly during their studies.
