The topic of cybercrime was chosen in accordance with the school's prevention programme and was intended for first-year students. Por. Bc. Bajcura presented to the students the concept of cybercrime as an ever-increasing phenomenon of our time. He described the scams that occur most often in the online space nowadays, advised how to detect them and how to defend against them. The students were thus introduced to various advertising and investment scams or the term “fake banker”.
The influence of addictive substances - alcohol and drugs - on driving was the content of the following lecture, this time intended for pupils of the 3rd year, i.e. often recent holders of a driving licence. In addition to statistics, practical information and a description of the consequences of driving under the influence, there were also illustrative videos.
Students especially appreciate the connection of theory with real case studies and the willingness of the lecturer to answer questions. Thank you for this opportunity and we look forward to further cooperation!
