The central theme of the lectures was a basic introduction to the issue of European funds and insight into the content of current operational programmes, such as OP Transport, Integrated Regional OP, OP Jan Amos Komenský, etc.
In the introduction, the speaker started by explaining the terms "cohesion policy" and "net beneficiary". We learnt how the EU funds from the EU reach the Czech Republic and what specific projects are currently being implemented in South Bohemia. Ing. Krejčová also explained how controls are carried out and what is needed to be observed in the projects - we also learned about the concept of "publicity". Both lectures ended with a recommendation that pupils should not hesitate to take advantage of the Erasmus+ programme, in which our school is also involved.
The students in both classes had many questions and it was clear that some of them were very interested in the topic of European funds. Thank you to the staff of Eurocenter České Budějovice for providing lectures at SPŠ SE this school year!
