The lecturer traditionally summarized the origins of European integration for the third and fourth graders, reiterated the treaties from the 1950s and later agreements. She also discussed the topic of the Czech Republic in the EU, the criteria for EU membership and the past years when the Czech Republic has been a member of the European Union. The lecture included public opinion charts, information about prominent Czechs in EU institutions, as well as a summary of projects and opportunities to go abroad. Kahoot on the topic of the Czech Republic and the EU was also an interesting diversion.
We would like to thank Eurocenter České Budějovice and PhDr. Kateřina Marková for their cooperation and the opportunity to broaden the students' horizons again!
