Lecture Technological literacy
On 3 November 2021, pupils in Class 4.EB attended a lecture on technological literacy organised in cooperation with ŠKODA AUTO a.s. as part of their computer science lessons.
The lecturer - Mr. Filip Šlapal, lecturer from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague - went through interesting information on many current and modern topics in the field of technology, especially regarding electromobility, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Mr. Šlapal spoke about the history and possible development of electromobility and its advantages and disadvantages. The topic of artificial intelligence, 5G networks, IoT and cybersecurity was also raised.
At the end of the lecture, the students were given the opportunity to evaluate the knowledge acquired during the lecture in a tricky quiz. The three best pupils even won prizes. The pupils enjoyed the lecture very much.
