PhDr. Marková first introduced the pupils to the activities of the Eurocentre and the eurodesk.cz website, which was still unknown to most of them. She also provided information about the composition of the EU, the Member States, the history of the EU, its enlargement and the current form of the EU, and described the activities of the EU institutions. She did not forget to explain the term “Schengen area” or “Eurozone”. The short lecture was followed by a game of Kahoot, in which the students of 2.S did very well.
In the end, PhDr. Marková introduced projects such as youth exchanges, Erasmus+, DiscoverEU, European Solidarity Corps, etc., thanks to which pupils can travel abroad - whether they want to work, study, help or simply gain experience by meeting young people of a similar age.
