The Foundation aims to support both students with above-average talents, who have a competitive record in their field, and students with social difficulties. We are very pleased that even our 9 students from the hands of the chairwoman of the board of directors of the foundation, the mayor of the city doc. Dr. Ing. Dagmara Škodová Parmová, received the scholarship for the school year 2024/2025.
At the scholarship award ceremony, after an introductory speech by the Mayor, they were introduced by the Secretary, Ing. Adolf Lísal, the individual scholarship holders, who were presented with symbolic cheques, followed by a few words from the representative of a major sponsor of the Foundation, Teplárny České Budějovice, a. s. A representative of our students also thanked all those present. After the speeches, we listened to compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach performed by other scholarship recipients (no longer from our school) on organ and flute.
We would like to thank the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the City of České Budějovice for the scholarships for our students, which will enable them to work on their self-fulfilment and further advance in the field of science and technology, and for the invitation to this festive event.
