Mathematics Kangaroo 2026: first-year students shine in this year's edition

On Thursday, March 20, 2026, the traditional mathematical competition Klokan took place at our school. This year 57 students from all over the school participated in it and there was no shortage of excellent results.

A total of 57 students participated in this year's Mathematical Kangaroo competition. The absence of the 2S and 2ER classes, which were on a ski course at the time of the competition, was used to the fullest especially by first-year students.

In category Junior only one student from the second year of study made it into the top ten of the overall ranking - Milan Mišek from the classroom 2EE, who took over 4th place. The best result in this category was achieved by Matouš Kolařík from the classroom 1EM with a profit 93 points. Second place went to Vojta Novák from the classroom 1ER83 points and third place was won by Jan Vondrasek, also from the class 1ER, with a profit 66 points.

In category Student, designed for third and fourth graders, was dominated by students of the class 3ER, who took the first two places. The winner was Josef Franta with a profit 79 points, second place was awarded to Matěj Slavik76 points. Third place went to Jiří Siegelbauer from the classroom 4ER, which has been awarded 68 points.
