In order to find out if we would advance to the finals, we had to wait for the result of the match between Jindřichův Hradec and Písek. The match ended the same way as our duel with Jindřichův Hradec, i.e. 6:0 for Písek. In the end, therefore, the advancement to the final was decided by a shootout. Our goalkeeper Matěj Brabenec caught the third shootout of Písek and our players David Camrda, Jakub Niček and Ondřej Vondra converted their shootouts and we could enjoy the promotion to the regional finals.
But in the final we met the uncompromising Gymnasium Tábor. The boys ran as hard as they could, played with the opponent "tight", but even so we were still losing 3:0 after 90 seconds. Half time ended 5:0. We won the second half 2:1, but we couldn't turn the final result around. Still, we were able to enjoy the title of vice-champion of the South Bohemian Region.
