The Day for Practice event was designed for 2nd and 3rd grade students who will have a continuous 14-day practice this school year. 8 cooperating companies came to our school, and one site (Erasmus+) was provided by the school's English teacher, Mgr. Daniela Marková. Among the companies we welcomed the following representatives: AGRIO MZS, s. r. o., ČD Cargo, a. s., FIEDLER AMS, s. r. o., Robert Bosch, spol. s r. o., ČEZ Group (TaRC), E.ON Group, VOLTCOM, spol. s r. o., and WEDOS Internet, a. s.

In 20-minute intervals, the students and the accompanying teachers toured the sites of the companies whose representatives came to introduce their activities and inform them about the possibilities of internships. After the event, a questionnaire was sent to all participants to give their opinion on the Practice Day.

Company representatives found the day to be beneficial for both the students and the company. They overwhelmingly appreciated the discipline of our students in their presentations and often expressed interest in an internship with them. The students mostly perceive the Day for Practice as beneficial or partially beneficial, they evaluate the presentations of the companies as more or less interesting. For all companies there would be students who would like to go to them for an internship, and for all of them there would also be those who would like to visit the company as part of a field trip. There is also interest in Erasmus+ among students. Teachers, mostly of vocational subjects, who accompanied the students on the Practice Day also found the event beneficial.

Thank you to everyone involved. Another event of this type, this time a Day for Business for the outgoing 4th years, will take place in spring 2025.
