How the Day for Companies took place on 25 March 2025

The aim of the traditional event held within the framework of career counselling at the SE School of Applied Sciences was to provide our students with an insight into the current offer of cooperating companies. Each company had its own original way of presenting itself - at some stations students met our graduates, at others they learned about the specific careers of current employees, found out what changes are currently taking place in the company, what the company is doing, what kind of employees it is looking for or even why the company is interested in our graduates.

The day was divided into two stages. In the first part, students visited the stations in Area A, i.e. in the new annex. The 4th grade students had the opportunity to meet the following companies: ČEZ Group, VOLTCOM, spol. s r. o., E.ON Group, ČD CARGO, a. s., AGRIO MZS, s. r. o., and WEDOS Group SA. There were classic 15-minute company presentations, which also offered space for questions from students. However, the presenters themselves also had questions for the students - most often they were interested in what the fourth-graders' plans for the future were, where they were heading, whether or not they already knew what they were going to do after graduation, and possibly also offered their own interesting perspective on what they considered promising.

The second part of the Business Day took place at stations B (in the gym) and station C (in the boardroom). In the gym, students met with company representatives: AISIN Europe Manufacturing Czech, s. r. o., Andritz Hydro, s. r. o., Fiedler AMS, s. r. o., ČD - Telematika, a. s., Engel strojírenská, spol. s r. o., Jihostroj, a. s., VAFO Production, s. r. o., TSE, spol. s r. o. The students were introduced to the companies in the boardroom: Photomate, s. r. o., EGE, spol. s r. o., Linde Pohony, s. r. o., Energetika Servis, s. r. o., I&C Energo, a. s., Fronius Česká republika, s. r. o., TKP geo, s. r. o., and Mosled, s. r. o. In this second part of the Day for Companies, students had the opportunity to visit representatives of individual companies in groups and not only gain new information, but also to ask individually about everything they were specifically interested in.
