On the first day, we met with students from other schools in front of ETE at 8:00 am and then proceeded with Mrs. Balounova to the classroom where we had lectures with ETE staff (Mr. Borovka, Mark, Voska and Pancíř). Each of them talked about the different sections and branches of ETE. We learnt about the principle on which the nuclear power plant operates, what facilities are located on the site or what technologies are used.
We started the second day in front of the ETE information centre, which is located in the adjacent Vysoký Hrádek Chateau. Here we had the opportunity to get acquainted with ETE through a virtual tour. We were then divided into four groups and visited the training centre and the engine room with our guides. We took photos at the cooling towers and the reactor building. We also visited the underground shelter, where the emergency staff meets. At the end of the second day we had a lecture with Mr. Kneslik and Mrs. Barboříková.
On the third day, students took the Nuclear Baccalaureate. Our knowledge gained during Wednesday and Thursday was tested in a knowledge quiz, in which Martin Šesták from the 3rd EA class took the 2nd place. At the end of the JM there was a lecture by Mr. Havlíček and Mr. Šimák.
