The internship is organized by CEZ and this year 12 students of our school participated in it. The aim of the program is to introduce young people to the operation of nuclear power, to promote interest in technical fields and energy and to offer students the possibility of future cooperation with CEZ Group. The Nuclear Baccalaureate includes lectures by experts in the field of nuclear power, discussions with experts including the plant management, excursions to the plant's operations - for example, to the machine room or the emergency centre, virtual and physical tours of the plant and a final knowledge test that verifies the knowledge acquired during the programme. The pupils were very satisfied with the course and the provision of the internship and stated that the internship allowed them to understand the principles of electricity generation in a nuclear power plant.
