T-Profi Final (28 June 2022)
On 28 June 2022, our team participated in the 6th national final of the T-Profi (Talents for Companies) competition, which took place in the conference hall of the AquaPalace Hotel Čestlice
At 9:00 a.m., the expert jury started the time countdown and the three-hour "marathon" began, which was extended by another 20 minutes to allow all teams to complete their competition models.
The task of the day was to build a working model of a nuclear reactor and its cooling system. Using electronic controls to regulate the overall power and control its cooling system. The mechanical assembly used the component base of the Merkur engineering kit. The control was provided by five pre-programmed Arduinos. Although their pre-programming eliminated our strongest aspect from the preparation, we still managed to win a nice tenth place in the national round of the competition.
