REPORTS FROM INDIVIDUAL EVENTS (2. 5. 2024)
Excursion to the showroom of Treservis, s. r. o. (1.EE)
During the graduation exams, specifically on 2 May 2024, we had the opportunity to visit the company Treservis, s. r. o., which focuses mainly on photovoltaic, but also heating panels and heat pumps. The company is located nearby, so it was possible to arrive on foot. After the welcome we were given some basic information about Treservis and their work. This gave us some insight into the workings and involvement of alternative energy sources and their use in homes, as well as industrial and other businesses. We were then given the opportunity to ask all sorts of questions, which were then readily answered by the performing employee.

Visit to the National Technical Museum in Prague (1st EM)
On May 2, 2024, the students of class 1.EM went on an excursion to the National Technical Museum in Prague. The aim of the visit was to introduce the pupils to the technical inventions and innovations that have shaped the modern world. Special attention was paid to the department of means of transport, where pupils admired historic locomotives, cars and airplanes. The visit to the museum sparked a heightened interest in technical fields and possible future careers in engineering for many pupils. This excursion was not only educational but also inspiring and showed how important it is to keep up with technological advances.

Visit to the PRE Museum in Prague and the Holešovice substation (2.EE)
On 2 May 2024, the pupils of class 2.EE took part in an excursion to the PRE Museum (technical and documentation museum of the Prague Power Industry) and to the Holešovice substation. The excursion was organized in cooperation with the company Pražská energetika, a. s., which owns the substation and museum, and VOLTCOM, spol. s r. o., which supplemented the program with a lecture on its activities. It is a construction and assembly company with its own design, assembly and service facilities in the field of electricity distribution.
The PRE Museum offered the students a demonstration of the history of electrical equipment (transformers, switches, fuses, junction boxes and household appliances) practically from the beginnings of the development of electricity to today. At the Holešovice substation, students could see and assess the differences in size between the older 110 kV encapsulated substation and its new replacement.

Excursion to VAS servis, spol. s r. o. (1.EM)
Excursion to Madeta, a. s. (1.EM)
On May 3, 2024, the students of the 1st EM went to Plana nad Lužnicí, where they had the opportunity to look behind the scenes of two important companies - VAS servis, spol. s r. o., and Madeta, a. s. Both of these companies, each in its own field, represent successful examples of business with a long tradition and innovative approach.
The excursion began with a visit to the company VAS servis, spol. s r. o., which specializes in repair and installation of measuring instruments. This part of the programme was particularly inspiring for the technically-minded pupils, who could appreciate the attention to detail and quality. The pupils witnessed how small components are transformed into instruments capable of measuring with incredible precision. The excursion also gave an insight into cooperation with international partners such as the Swiss company HAENNI and the Slovenian company Libela Elsi.
The afternoon belonged to the second stop - Madeta, which is famous for its dairy products. The pupils were surprised by the vastness and automation of the production lines, where everything - from filling to packaging - takes place under strict supervision using the latest technology. Madeta, with products known under brands such as Jihočeské Lipno or Romadur, showed the pupils how industrial production can be linked to maintaining high quality and tasty products.
For many pupils, these excursions were the first step towards understanding what fields they might study in the future or what industry they would like to find a career in, and for all of us it was a day full of discovery and new experiences.
