Excursion of class 2.S and 3.S: Škoda Mladá Boleslav
On 2 June 2025, 46 pupils from classes 2.S and 3.S together with their teachers Ing. Petr Kroupa and Mgr. Michal Vondrášek took part in an excursion in Mladá Boleslav to ŠKODA AUTO, a. s.
We left the school by bus at 6:30 a.m. and arrived in Mladá Boleslav at around 10:00 a.m. Upon arrival, we were met by a guide and a lady guide and went directly to the factory, where we first visited the welding plant where ŠKODA AUTO, a.s. has around 1200 robots. We then visited the press shop, where we were introduced to the entire production process and saw the entire operation of the automatic line. Lastly, we moved on to the assembly of the car interior, where we saw the operation of the entire production line and part of the assembly.
Next we visited the Škoda Museum, which we toured with a guide and then on our own. We could see how the whole development of vehicles, their design and engine production took place.
