The excursion started early in the morning with a departure from the school and a subsequent journey to Brno to the showroom of DMG MORI, a manufacturer of CNC machine tools. Here the latest models of CNC milling machines, lathes, robotic manipulators and feeders and parts made on them were on display.
Innovations in the field of machining tools, such as DLC surface treatment, were also presented. Thanks to DMG MORI's cooperation with Heidenhain, a company that develops and manufactures control systems and drives, the latest TNC 7 control system was also on display, in which it is possible to program machining movements and conditions on CNC machines.
In the last part, we were introduced to the Skills Czech Republic competition, which aims to find the best in CNC machining through presentations by its former graduates.
The event was very beneficial for studies in the subjects of numerical control of machines and engineering technology thanks to the visualization of the use of machining processes, technologies and machines in practice.
