This time we travelled by train, tram and on foot. There were fewer people at Prague Castle than last time, and in St. Vitus Cathedral our steps were accompanied by the sounds of the old organ, which is unusually placed on the side of the transept. In the Old Royal Palace we saw the window of the defenestration and copies of the crown jewels. After visiting St. George's Basilica and the Golden Lane, we took the traditional route (Nerudova Street, over Charles Bridge...) to the National Museum. On Old Town Square we remembered the execution of 27 lords in 1621, but also the bombing of Prague in 1945; at the Estates Theatre we saw Josef Kajetan Tyl and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. At the National Museum we visited the Pantheon and then everyone could enjoy the museum premises according to their own interest.
On 11 May 2023, the 3.SA class also set out to explore the capital city of Prague.
