After arriving at the Main Railway Station, we took a tram to Prague Castle, where we toured St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica and Golden Lane. We were no longer slowed down by security barriers when entering the Castle grounds, although one student was singled out for random checks by a police officer present and had to pass through the barriers. The frames disappeared, but we encountered uniformed police officers all the more, not only in the Castle grounds themselves, but also in the individual buildings. By the middle of the tour, the rain had stopped and the sun was gradually shining through.
From the Castle we went along Nerudova Street, over Charles Bridge, Old Town Square and to Wenceslas Square. Here we visited the National Museum, where students could visit the collections that were closest to them after a tour of the Pantheon. Then we got on the train and went back to České Budějovice.
