On November 6, 2024, the 3.EE class went on a field trip to Polygon - the training and teaching site of PRE. Polygon is located in Prague in the area of Malešice substation.

Quotes from Web site Polygon: "The sufficient capacity of the teaching and training workplace allows us to invite students of electrical engineering schools for professional practice. We organise professionally guided excursions for them, which are always adapted to the theory being discussed. We consider cooperation with vocational schools to be an important way to encourage students' motivation for future work in the field. For this reason, we only provide schools with teaching and consulting services free of charge on the basis of pre-agreed framework agreements."

This time the 3rd EE class went to Prague with their class teacher and five selected pupils from the 3rd ER class.

After arrival to the Polygon centre we had a lecture from the training technician Zdeněk Hejzlar. Then we saw the machines on which PRE Group employees are trained. Polygon also organizes paid training for employees of companies that cooperate with PRE Group or Polygon is used for presentation of new equipment.

We ended the excursion with lunch and a tour of Voltcom at the PRE headquarters.
