Excursion to the PRE Museum (2.EE)

On 4 December 2024, the 2.EE class went on an excursion to the PRE Museum in Prague's Holešovice. It is a technical and documentary museum of Prague's power industry and maps the rich history of electricity production, distribution and distribution from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day.

The trip to the Prague electrical distribution company PRE was very interesting. First, we got acquainted with the history and functioning of this important company. Then we saw the modern technologies and equipment used by the company to distribute electricity. After the tour we had lunch where we enjoyed a steak and potatoes.

After lunch, we moved on to a short lecture about Voltcom, which is part of PRE. We learned that Voltcom specializes in the construction and maintenance of energy networks. The whole day was very beneficial and enriched us with new knowledge in the field of energy. The trip was a great combination of education and enjoyable experience.
