Excursion to Temelín Nuclear Power Plant (5 December 2022)

The pupils heard many interesting facts about the operation of the power plant from the female guides - including a former student of our school Kristýna Marečková. Thanks to animations and interactive elements, pupils learned how the plant works, how it is operated and what is needed to ensure maximum reactor safety. A big surprise was the wireless VR goggles, which allowed us to get inside the reactor or the cooling tower.

Every time we visit JETE, we meet our former students who work there and we are pleased to have been able to play a part in their future career decisions.
