Excursion to GPN GmbH in Trhové Sviny (13 December 2022)
On 13 December 2022, the 1st EE class went on a field trip to the company GPN GmbH in Trhové Sviny, which specializes in the production of automated production lines and lines using robots.
In the tool shop, simple and complex tools are produced; in the machine shop, they focus on assembly of structural units, assembly lines and welding production.
Special thanks to the company director Ing. Jiří Šimek, who together with his colleagues prepared a morning programme full of interesting information and practical demonstrations for our pupils. Graduates of our school also work in the company, specifically as deputy directors for the tool room and for the machine shop.
