Energy Olympics (14 October 2022)

On 14 October 2022, the 5th round of the Energy Olympiad took place. This is the only competition of its kind in the field of energy, which is intended for secondary school students. They compete in teams on behalf of their school.

This year, the school round was attended mostly by 2nd graders, although this event is intended more for upper grades. In solving the online tasks, students used, among other things, the "Transmission System 3D" application, which uses illustrative models to present the Czech electricity transmission system.

Nearly 470 teams from all over the Czech Republic competed. Our pupils placed 92nd (Ondřej Kříž, Jakub Kočárek and Martin Pavlík), 107th (Matěj Kopeček and Libor Homolka) and 177th (Denis Majrich, Miroslav Sojka and Radim Barták). Thanks to all participants for representing our school!
