Via vitae - the way of life
The project is created as a link between generations. The aim of the project is to present the life stories of the elderly to the wider public, to strengthen social interaction and build intergenerational relationships. It serves to expand the biographical concept of care that we are engaged in at our Home. In the project we work with the reminiscence of seniors, using themes such as profession, sports, family and interests. Storytelling is a tool for us to communicate with the senior and their family, a way of understanding and adapting to their needs. It becomes an activating and reactivating option and a strengthening of the senior's mental condition.
