With SPŠ SE we joined the national public collection organized by the League Against Cancer Prague.
Each pair had 75 flowers to offer to passers-by during the morning hours, along with information leaflets. The minimum price of one flower was 20 CZK, but donors could also make a higher contribution, which in many cases actually happened. All 600 flowers available to the school were sold in the morning. People were interested in the collection, often even stopping our volunteers themselves. In total, the volunteers collected 20 394 CZK, which we then sent to the account of the League Against Cancer Prague via the Czech Post.
We are pleased to have been able to support a good cause in this way, and we are very grateful to all the volunteers who took part in the event.
