Second Alumni Day behind us - 29 January 2026

An Alumni Day was planned for Thursday, January 29, 2026, an event during which some of the alumni revisited our school to not only reminisce together about the years gone by, but also to look back at the 1st and 4th grade classrooms and share their experiences with current students.

The graduates met in the morning in the assembly hall, where they had the opportunity to have a snack and exchange a few words with former classmates and with the organizers of the event, with whom they also went on a short tour of the school, because for some of them a lot has changed in the past 3-4 years since they left the school (extension with specialized classrooms, elevator, rest room for students, etc.). Then, during the big break, the graduates were greeted by Mr.

Then our graduates went to the 4th grade classes. In the graduating classes, the students shared their graduation experiences and gave some advice and tips on how to successfully graduate from high school. They also talked about their beginnings in college or in the workforce.

The first-year students were interested in what their studies had been like before, what year or final year papers they had chosen, and how they had coped with individual subjects. Together, they compared how teaching differed then from now, gained an insight into the course and results of the final exams and learned a lot of useful information for their future studies and practice.

On the occasion of Alumni Day, which was held here for the second time this year, we welcomed 18 of our former students who are a few months to 4 years away from graduation. Most of them are studying at universities, whether in Prague, Pilsen, České Budějovice or Uherské Hradiště, some of them combine their studies with work to a greater or lesser extent. Most of them stayed in the field, some moved away a bit, but all of them seemed happy. The graduates agreed that they enjoyed the event and that they were very happy to meet our current students - and we were happy to see them again after a while!
