Students were given basic information about the traineeships, such as the conditions of participation, requirements for trainees, available destinations and the application procedure. Our student Tereza Böhmová then shared with the pupils her experience of the work placement she completed in Dublin, Ireland in October 2024. The students were able to learn more about what it is like to work in a foreign company or live with an Irish family.
After the presentation, the students had the opportunity to ask questions about practical matters such as accommodation, language barriers or financing the internship, etc. Many expressed interest in this opportunity not only to gain professional experience but also to see a foreign country and experience new cultures. So we will keep our fingers crossed for them in the selection process.
