Open Days 25/26: 336 prospective students visited the school

Our Secondary School of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering in České Budějovice, Dukelská 13 opened its doors to future students and their parents four times this year as part of the Open Days. A total of 336 primary school pupils showed interest in studying at our school, which makes us very happy and confirms the growing interest in technical education.

The programme of each day began with an introduction by the school management, during which visitors learned important information about the courses of study offered, the admission procedure and the success rate of our students in the final exams. There was also information about interest groups, cooperation with partner companies and opportunities for graduates to work in practice.

Then the arrivals went on an individual tour of the school according to their own preferences and interests.

During the visit they could try and experience for example:

🏢 tour of school classrooms, specialist laboratories and workshops,
🧑‍🏫 interviews with students and teachers about teaching and student life,
💡 Presentation of individual fields of study,
🧑‍🎓 examples of student projects and practical work,
📑 detailed information about the admission procedure,
🔦 information on the Technical Olympiad, which is open to primary school pupils.

Visitors had the opportunity to look into specialized classrooms, modern equipped laboratories and workshops where students gain valuable practical experience. There was great interest in specific demonstrations of teaching and in the projects on which our students are working.

The open days were again met with a very positive response and confirmed that our school is one of the most sought-after technical schools in the region.
