Theatrical performance The Miser - DK Metropol (18 December 2023)

The students studied for the first three hours on Monday, December 18, 2023, after which we moved to the nearby theatre hall of the Metropol complex. Here, the theatre company Divadlo různých jmen (now also performing under the name of Radek Brzobohatý Theatre) was ready to perform the play The Miser by the French playwright Molière. The students are prepared for the performance by reading, analyzing or recalling the work in order to understand the plot more easily. The play is always chosen with the School's Graduation Reading List in mind.

Our impression of this year's performance (despite the great performance of Milan Enchev as Harpagon) was reduced by the bad arrangement during the organization - there were not enough seats in the hall. Some students had to use the chairs of the annexes, a few sat on the floor. The situation was subsequently resolved with the organizing theatre, which acknowledged the mistake and provided a discount for our school.
