Business Day - 26 April 2023
On Wednesday, 26 April 2023, the Day for Companies, an event for 3rd and 4th year students, was held, during which some companies cooperating with SPŠ SE were introduced to the students.
We are glad that we could welcome a large number of companies. However, there were so many people interested in this event that we could not accommodate all of them due to full capacity. The companies were divided into three groups - those oriented towards students of electrical engineering (Photomate, s. r. o., Energetika Servis, s. r. o., EG.D Montáže, s. r. o., Union Grid, s. r. o., VOLTCOM, spol. s r. o., WEDOS Internet, a. s., E.ON Group), companies oriented towards students of mechanical engineering (Linde Pohony, s. r. o, MOSLED, s. r. o., KeyTec ČB, SILHOUETTE Czechia, s. r. o., ŠKODA JS, a. s., ANDRITZ HYDRO, s. r. o.) and companies representing both fields (ČD Cargo, a. s, EGE, spol. s r. o., ENGEL strojírenská, spol. s r. o., ČEZ Group, FRONIUS Česká republika, s. r. o., BELIS, a. s.).
The companies always set up an improvised station in the classrooms for a certain period of time, which was visited by our pupils. After the event, in order to make similar days more effective in future years, an online student feedback session was held, which provided valuable insights that we will continue to work with.
Our students and supervising teachers evaluated the day mostly very positively. The students gained a lot of new information, both in the field and in personnel, they could also try out some of the elements themselves, and those who wanted to could even compete.
