Open Day at CTU FELU (16 November 2023)

We arrived in front of FEL shortly after 10:30. Then we took the paternoster upstairs to the classroom, where a lecture on cyber security took place (the talk was about software for simulating computer networks). This was followed by an introduction of the faculty, individual disciplines and discussion. We then moved to the 6g lab and heard a short talk on the use of 6g and 5g technology and their measurements. Next we went down to the -1st floor where we visited the prototype lab. We got acquainted with the SMT line (automatic circuit board assembly), test and repair area including the inspection X-ray. A lecture about the radio club was held in the highest part of the building and ended with a climb to the roof with the antennas installed. After a break for lunch, we met in the Robotics Industry Building (CIIRC) where practical applications of technology are tested.

We enjoyed the excursion and many of us will definitely head to this school after graduation! The open day helped us to choose our major.
