Open Day of CTU Prague organized by BOSCH

On January 24, 2025, BOSCH prepared an open day at the FEL CTU Prague for our secondary industrial school and two high schools from České Budějovice.

After arriving in Prague for the DOD, we were all welcomed on the FEL campus by Mr. He briefly introduced FEL and its fields of study, but also the content of the study. He did not forget about the students' leisure activities and other opportunities to diversify and enliven their studies at the FELU. He emphasized that successful graduates have no problem with finding a job on the labour market, not only at home, but also abroad, which he illustrated with a number of examples.

After this introductory session, the students were divided into groups, with each group being guided around the school by a current senior student. Our students started the tour in the lab, where they had the opportunity to see the graphical programming of the Raspberry PI PICO microcomputer and have a go. This was followed by a workshop on communications networks and cyber security.

After lunch in the nearby canteen, the students visited the acoustic chamber and the open day ended with a tour of the eForce formula, which the CTU students designed and built themselves. At the end, we summarized the whole day full of information in a discussion with the staff of the CTU Dean's Office and BOSCH.

For many, the excursion was the first encounter with the university's facilities and programmes, and thus a motivation for further studies.
