The day-long programme started with an official welcome by representatives of the E.ON Group, followed by the FEKT BUT programme, which included an introduction of study programmes by the Vice-Dean. Besides Mr. Vice-Dean, the presentation of study fields was attended by students of higher years of this faculty. They shared with the audience their personal experience of studying at this university.
After the introduction, the students had the opportunity to go through all the stations prepared by the E.ON Group, which were focused on the different areas of the energy sector that the Group deals with and where experts were ready to answer the students' questions.
The presentation also included a small knowledge quiz, where successful solvers won small souvenirs. At each station it was possible to see examples of everyday work, but also problems encountered by workers in the field. A demonstration of the Group's state-of-the-art technology and the Group's concern for the safety of its employees was the securing of the substation with lidar. The students toured all the stations and many of them asked careful and detailed questions of the experts present there. As a result, everyone took home new information and gained suggestions for their further studies or future work.
