The mini-lecture on the topic of safety at work on electrical equipment was mainly devoted to the basic rules of safety at work on electrical equipment. The mini-lecture was prepared in cooperation with EGD as a supplement to the material discussed in the subjects of electrical distribution and electrical power engineering.
The mini-lecture was led by Mr. ing. Zděněk Dadák with extensive experience in working on electrical distribution equipment. In the introduction the basic concepts were described and the legislative norms to be followed when working on electrical equipment were presented. The focus of the explanation was on the five basic principles that govern electricians not only in the Czech Republic but also in other European countries. The individual principles were further described in detail and supplemented with concrete examples of their implementation and also with possible consequences of their non-compliance.
The aim of the mini-lesson was to explain to pupils that working on electrical equipment or even contact with electrical equipment can be very dangerous and requires a great deal of caution. But with professional knowledge, by following the basic rules and using the right precautions and protective equipment, this danger can be avoided.
