The lecturer first introduced the present students to the problem of the size of the South Bohemian Region or the completion of the motorway network. Then he supported his lecture with a presentation, when he mentioned the law on road traffic. There was also information about electric scooters (they are supposed to ride on the road, not on the pavement, they are intended for people 18+!).
Cf. Bc. Bajcura also talked about sanctions (e.g. there is a threat of driving ban for more than 1 year if they drive more than 50 km/h on roads, expressways and motorways, the driver loses 4 points if he drives more than 20 km/h in a village, if a person is in execution, his licence can be suspended...). Students were reminded that there is zero tolerance of alcohol and addictive substances behind the wheel in the Czech Republic.
In the second half, the lecturer talked about accidents, what and how they are most often caused, and illustrated his lecture with authentic photographs. Finally, he chose a student who tried to "blow up a balloon".
The whole event was evaluated very positively by the students and supervising teachers and it was certainly not the last one that we will organize together with the Police of the Czech Republic at SPŠ SE.
