Cooperation project with the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computer Science, South Bohemia University

Our 2nd ER students David Janošt'ák, Latislav Štěpán and Josef Franta started to cooperate with the Laboratory of Embedded Systems of the Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Science of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.

In the project, students under the guidance of Milan Novák, PhD, embarked on the basics of drone programming. Jan Petrásek is coordinating the cooperation on behalf of SPŠ SE.

As part of the project, the students have a loan of a Crazyflie 2.0 drone on which they learn the basics of indoor flying. Our students successfully managed the initial task of PhDr. Novák, when they managed to assemble the drone and program it to stay in place at the prescribed altitude. The basis is the program already created by PhDr. Novak, which the students slightly modified.

We wish our students success in solving further follow-up tasks.
