1st place in Talent of the South Bohemian Region 2021: Matěj Sedmík

Over 40 talented South Bohemian students and children won awards in the following categories: music, science, dance, technical, versatile and humanities. The winner in the technical category was Matěj Sedmík, a student of the SE Secondary School.

Matěj became in 2021 the best competitor of ship modelers in the Czech Republic in the category F4A junior and he was included in the Czech national team by the Czech Modelers Association. He won 4 first places in the series competitions for the title of Czech Champion. He has been a member of the Ledenice Ship Modellers Club for 10 years and during that time he has built 5 model ships according to the given technical plans and his own designs, as well as a model airplane and last but not least two go-karts powered by an internal combustion engine. In 2019 he participated in the World Championship in Hungary, where he won 9th place.

We congratulate Matěj Sedmík on his beautiful placement and we wish him to persevere in his hobby in the future and to achieve many more successes.
